Cellist MAFALDA SANTOS brought a stunning program of music by J.S. Bach, Irving Berlin, Leonard Cohen and beautiful Portuguese folk music to our online audience for the Azure Concert for Families Living with Autism on 12/5/21.
For our first indoor concert since the pandemic, the marvelous jazz quartet DAT FEEL GOOD (Clarence Ward III, Aaron Hill, Obasi Akoto and Quincy Phillips) got the guys up and dancing during a rousing show on 12/2/21. Scripps National News did a feature on OJN with footage from this concert.
DAN + CLAUDIA ZANES brought an uplifting show to men at the Greenspring Men's Shelter on 11/28/21- the first programming at the no-barriers shelter- EVER!
BILLY PRICE and the CHARM CITY RHYTHM BAND brought a fabulous evening of the blues to the veterans at The Baltimore Station 10/13/21. OJN’s first ever show for the FRANKLIN SQUARE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (presented in partnership with St. Luke's Youth Center) was loads of fun! The fantastic duo of DAN + CLAUDIA ZANES had children from Pre-K through third grade singing, dancing and jumping! on 10/7/21.
The beautiful pianist SAHUN HONG performed a gorgeous program of solo piano music for a live, online Azure Concert for Families Living with Autism and Similar Challenges on 10/3/21.
When the Baltimore Station Residential Treatment Program for Veterans asked OJN to bring “campfire songs” for their three day trip to Camp Puh’Tok up in Monkton, MD, we knew that the wonderful DAN + CLAUDIA ZANES would bring a really fun and uplifting evening to the men, which they certainly did!!!! OJN is excited about our new partnership with St. Luke's Youth Center, "a collaborative of West Baltimore families working together with friends, neighbors and partners to provide youth with critical resources, life-enriching experiences and a safety net of support." We were excited to welcome the fabulous jazz quartet, DAT FEEL GOOD, back to the Baltimore Station (residential treatment program for veterans) on 4/12/21. The men were so grateful to hear live music again!

DAN + CLAUDIA ZANES worked for two months to compose songs and collaborate on a creative project with a young person with autism. The final presentation, "The Ballad of Ninjago," was presented on an online concert on 4/ 18/21.
The beautiful violin playing of HYE-JIN KIM graced our Azure Concert on 2/21/21. The program featured an interactive reading and musical presentation of "Miss Rumphius," with narrator JILL CAMNITZ and pianist IEVA JOKUBAVICIUTE.
We are thrilled that composer ERIC LACY will be composing a new work for cello and piano to be premiered in 2022 by cellist LACHEZAR KOSTOV and pianist ANDREA BAUTISTA.
